'Second Holland'
Between Cisowo and Kopań already stand three out of nine planned windmills.
Each is 118 meters high, weighs 225 tons and can produce 2 MW of electrical energy. The other six turbines shall be installed in November.
The electrical plant shall produce 55 thousand MWh which means it can power a town consisting of 5000 people.
The ministry of Economy obliges that in 2001 each energy company buys from renewable sources 2,4 % of all distributed energy. By 2010 this amount shall rise to 7. 5% .
The European union decided that in partnership countries 12 to 15 % of all energy should be renewable energy including wind energy.
