'Wind from the sea'
According to the author Stanisław Dąbrowski, in Poland, where coal based electricity has overproduction of power it is difficult to develop the production of renewable energy. The more praise for the pioneers, that against all opposites and economical figures they decided to invest in wind power stations.
The largest wind power station in the country is being built near Darłowo between Cisowo and Kopań. The localization was chosen because of the good structure of winds blowing there. The farm built by Energia-Eco company will consist of nine windmills with a 2 MW turbine each. 10 MW is an amount that counts in the local energy businesses. The power station will produce 55 MWh energy per year - this amount is enough to power a large town. Also the ecological side is interesting.
The author points out the lack of legal solutions, due to which the investors have problems with selling there energy, and energy stations do not buy the amount of renewable energy they should ( act dated 15 December 2000), because no penalties have been set.
